It's taken me all afternoon to come up with & coherently write a two-sentence thesis for my final class paper due Tuesday. Co-intentional teaching is a concept I can scratch the surface of, but am far from understanding despite the fact we've been talking about it for weeks. It sounds like understanding Freire poses a serious challenge to graduate classes too, so I don't feel quite so idiotic.

On the other hand, I pulled my last paper out of nowhere at the last minute & blew the professor away with 'one ass-kicking indictment of our educational system... Superb synthesis, clarity and vision.'

I have learned more in 25 credits at UW than I did in all my years at Sonoma State, especially in the 10 with this eccentric & borderline insane prof. I know my life will never be the same because of it, and am now thankful I didn't earn my degree in the past so I could have the opportunity to learn in ways previously unknown to me.
